Andrew Lang was born and raised in Kandiyohi, Minnesota. He graduated from Willmar High School in 1997 and attended Ridgewater College, where he earned an associate degree in pre-engineering. Andrew subsequently attended St. Cloud State University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in aviation science and management.
Andrew and his wife, Susie, married in 2003. Together with their two boys, they make their home in rural Olivia, where they are members of Cross of Calvary Lutheran Church. In addition to his duties as a state senator, Andrew is a helicopter pilot for North Memorial Health Air Care.
